The Missouri Playlist

Missouri is a foreign land, a foreign land of excellent adventures, fantastic people, and riotous tourist attractions. It is a state filled with sprawling suburbia and an understated indie scene. It is home to the Bass Pro Shop, to Kansas City's famous BBQ, giant shuttlecocks and books, to St. Louis' vibrant city, and to Branson- I have no witty quip to make about Branson but I'd really like to go there someday. You're single portion of food is designed for a family of five and the land is almost completely flat, but there's a truly wonderful quality about the way the sunsets and there are stars for miles.

Most importantly, Missouri is home to several excellent individuals with an impressive, albeit eclectic taste in music. So from my NYE celebration to your ears, here is the Missouri Playlist; a list of tracks inspired by great friends, reconnecting with the past and, most importantly, partying for ever.

The Missouri Playlist:

Avett Brothers: "Laundry Room"
Passion Pit: "Little Secrets"
