NYC Food Flim Fest- Tribeca- 10/13 - 10/16

The New York City Food Film Fest starts tonight! For the next four days Tribeca Cinemas will become home to delicious foods, thought provoking films and foodies from across the nation. The festival is in its fifth year and is set to a wide array of culinary wonders.

Tonight’s debut explores the wonders of burgers and beers with “A Cheers to Burgers and Beers”. Patrons will enjoy the delicious burgers featured in the film as well as a number of craft brews and will get to meet the brewers behind them.

Also on the docket for this weekend’s festivities is a look at South America’s largest food festival with “Edible Adventure #3- Mistura and More”, an exploration of NYC’s finest tacos with “Taco Takedown” and the much anticipated “Food Porn Party”. Wrapping up Saturday night this party is an ode to extreme eats including octopus and pots du crème.

Sunday will close out the festival with the “Di Fara Pizza Lunch” and “Farm to Food to Table” a look at where our food comes from and how it becomes what ends up on our plate. Fresh foods from local farms and leaders in sustainability will be in attendance and the event will be home to the festival’s closing ceremonies.
